So, McMillen’s Custom Framing has thousands of frame styles to choose from, but what about the art? Have no fear! Our vast artwork selection gives you many options to reflect your personal style and taste. Local artists are featured in our gallery and their visions are reminiscent of the area. Check out the following links to find your personal favorite!

Prints and Posters
Check out Art.com! This site has thousands of images to choose from that can be printed on canvas or paper to any dimension! AND, you can have it shipped directly to McMillen’s for design services before you arrive.
Picture this: It’s you at the framer’s, years ago, paging through books with millions of graphics. You end up selecting one you’re sure will be perfect for your living room, but when your art arrives two weeks later, it’s not quite what you’d pictured. Sound familiar? Lieberman’s Gallery is the online site that represents all those poster catalogs from years ago. They also offer canvas and digital presentations. And rest assured, with high quality graphics and an easily navigable site, you’ll find just what you’re looking for!
Just a poster? Everything is so much more than “just a poster” in today’s market. Old standards have come a long way. Check out Bruce McGaw Graphics, Image Conscious, and Editions Limited for those infamous images of Elvis, Dogs Playing Pool, Andy Warhol’s Soup Cans, and Monet’s Waterlilies.

Artists & Original Art
When in Traverse City, always start with the Dennos Museum Center to experience the flavor of the area and enjoy their museum gift shop. Local artists travel as a group and are members of Traverse City’s Art Center. The group teaches classes, hosts art fairs, and features exhibits throughout the year. A step closer to the local artists is a website called Artist’s North that features the best we have to offer. The site will list current artwork, the latest shows, and the happenings of the art arena.
Featured artists in the McMillen’s store this year begin with Anderson Aerial who has captured every shoreline and landscape throughout lower northern Michigan. They are also available to photograph your special place from a bird’s eye view.
National award-winning artist Mary Fuscaldo is also featured with her pastels and giclee prints.
And take a peek at Sue Quinlan, animal portrait artist extraordinaire, who also happens to feature our store’s mascot on her opening page. And what gallery would be complete without the fun and whimsical world of Charlie Murphy and his ever-popular watercolors?

Acrylics & Shadow Boxes
Some works of art need much more than frames — they need full-dimensional framing. McMillen’s is pleased to be the distributor of Showcase Acrylics, the nation’s leading distributor of custom acrylic displays. The store is filled with showcased jerseys and footballs, puppets and toys, christening dresses, and medals! Just imagine the possibilities to highlight that special event or moment in your life.
