After doing many properties, both commercial and residential, we are always amazed at the response we get on those projects that we seem to take for granted.

The Grand Traverse Resort always seems to be the one we get the most comments on. McMillen’s has framing throughout rooms, hallways, sports memorabilia in the bars, lounges, restaurants and golf facilities. These always are the one thing we are most reminded of when it comes to meeting framing needs.  The restaurant however is the most notable. The dynamic space and spectacular views of the Grand Traverse Resort  in partnership with the Grand Traverse Band always brings out the most in our services. With a basic black and white palette to contrast upon Northern Michigan’s beauty, the Aerie Restaurant was a delight to design with its Interior Designer.  Rarely have we seen such a combination of form and function.

These same concepts echo in our execution in the design of Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel, as well as past projects such as Shanty Creek Resort in their Schuss Mountain update, or the Cedar Village remodel of 2008.

Another example of our commercial framing services would be the rooms of the Chippewa or Lilac Tree Hotel on Mackinaw Island, where we have introduced over 800 pieces into their image conceptions.
